Exciting News for Coach Benjamin Wade

I am very excited to announce that Coach Wade has signed a contract pending to coach men's soccer at Lassen College! As many of his fans know he was fired from his previous position coaching women's soccer at SBU in Bolivar, Mo. He was unemployed for a bit post Survivor Tocantins and for a bit taught music history classes at Lassen College. He previously coached women's soccer at Lassen College and has a very successful record. I am very excited to hear this news as Coach Wade is an amazing soccer Coach and to me it is a sure sign the life he loved pre Survivor is now returning and in a positive way. Please congratulate Coach Wade on this new venture and Coach, I wish you much success at this new position! Very happy for you!

Ben Wade to coach Lassen College men's soccer

April 29, 2010 — Coach, conductor, survivor, and proud Susanville resident Benjamin Wade signed a contract on Thursday, April 29 with Lassen College to coach the men’s soccer team starting in August. The contract is pending board approval.

Wade had previously coached the women’s team from 2001-2005 and racked up a 67-6-4 record.

At the time, Wade and his team had the second best record in the nation behind University of North Carolina’s head soccer coach Anson Dorrance.

I had a chance to catch up with Wade and ask him a few questions regarding the position, his aspirations for the program and find out more about what makes the Dragon Slayer tick.
